Dear parents, did you know there are two very important stages in your children's education, which will significantly affect their future? The first stage is Grade 11 of high school. At this stage your children start to learn many new subjects such as physics, chemistry, and biology. The textbooks become over 500 pages each instead of about 400 pages in grade 10 science which is a combination of a few subjects. Due to significantly increased materials and challenging scientific principles, a high percentage of children at this stage, including some gifted students, start to struggle in these courses. If the problems are not solved in time and properly, students could fall behind in class and lose motivation, confidence and interest in learning. The second stage is the first-year of university. Students at this stage are excited at the new studying environment, and enjoying the first taste of independence and making adult decisions on a regular basis. However, many students do not realize that university is not an extension of high school. They have to develop their own learning and time management skills to deal with a much more demanding academic work load than high school. For these and many other reasons, over 20% of students, including those who have already developed good study habits, receive poor grades and some do not go on to their second year.

These courses help students enhance their academic performance through one-on-one or small group instructing/tutoring sessions, and provide an effective method to improve students' grades significantly.
